diesal locos running slower than steam locos

Have problem on classic 3 that all diesal locos running much slower and accelaration is a crawl compared with steam locos which accelerate ok with no problem (using the same control arrangements for each)

Am running Vista with 2GB memory and have updated video card to nvidia 8500GT from7300GS with only marginal improvement (if any).

Do not have this problem with Trainz 2006

any suggestions please

Upgrading your graphics card is the most effective method of getting your diesels to go faster. If you sprinkle a very small amount of coal into the cd-rom drive it can help the traction of steam engines.
