Did you know...?

MKT Forever and always
(not entirely sure this goes here, but anyway...)

While surfing iTunes last night i came across, of all things, recordings of steam engines. I found one of an SP engine (probably either 2472 or 4449) leaving LA for Barstow, and one of a C&S 2-10-2 (No. 809). And Before you ask, there's no O. Wiston Link (I've already searched for him:().

I just wondered if this is something no one has seen before or if i'm just the last idiot to find this out. Just wondered if anybody else has seen this before? I'd buy them if i wasn't out of money on my iTunes account:hehe:

sawyer811: I read you blurb about recordings reminded me..I used to have a recording by O. Winston Link and it was of a 4-12-0 I believe..Anyhow I used to play that dude once in awhile..I,ll keep searching for it and if I find it I'll let you know about it..

I actually saw that looking through the store for something else, but came upon it

quick follow-up: search "sounds of steam locomotives" on iTunes, you get like 5 or 6 different albums with everything from 0-6-0s to 4-8-8-4s.
