Well here's an exception to the rule! I don't think THE UNITED STATES OF America is the best place. I think the UK/Great Britan is the best place in the world! Well for trains at least.......

I was in Germany when I was in first grade. While there, we saw the Runkle Castle, which "Runkle" is also my surname, btw. One of our more memorable moments while there was staying at a hotel with a pool. We all wanted to swim in it, until my parents went to check it out and saw 3 naked men in it!:hehe: (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)

Anyway, the Castle (or at least a decent representation thereof) is the centerpiece of a theme park layout I'm making! It will be called "Runkleworld" and it's sort of a combination of VA's Bush Gardens and Disneyland! It will be part German-themed and part Old West/Civil War-Themed! Similar in style to DL's dioramas, I plan for the railroad to have a diorama of Atlanta getting burninated by General Sherman! Also, it will even have some German Steam locos!
