Thanks very much for this tutorial. Although I have had Transdem for some time, never did get it to work to my satisfaction - slow learner.

I followed your tutorial and the steps you listed an everything worked exactly as you said. I was able to map out an 80 mile route with 4 dems and 23 kmz's.
Next time I will make my dems finer since I now will spend the evening deleting baseboards. Small price to pay.
