Could someone recommend a set of signals, I use NEC usually but since porting my route to TRS22 they are playing up, sometimes don't light up but are being ignored with consists following each other like sheep.
Right hand, fictional route.

Jointed Rails G style NYC signals Comes with Gantry signals

Thanks, this is where bulk replace comes in handy!
that tool does not work on signals it gives a warning when doing so... but it does work on track and switch machines and switches and whistle posts but not signals bridges but roads yes..
so to replace the signals you have to do it the old fashioned way by hand..

I don't feel I should have to go to Jointed Rails or any other outside agency. Still, I use sig BR, because they look most like the kind of signals I am used to, but they don't work properly - at least, not the ones that indicate a possible turn to left or right, where they often signal a turn when the points are set for straight on.

can someone tell me what the difference is between the signal BR7 and signal BR8.?

and aslo how far away should a signal be.? from a Junction.

Thanks
