Deleting Large Amounts of a Route?

I have downloaded a route that I like but it is quite long and I want to shorten it. However, deleting a portion section by section is quite tedious. Is there a way to select multiple sections at once for a mass deletion?

Only way is to delete baseboards I believe.. It would be clever if you could select multiple baseboards from the map but I doubt its not that much a needed feature.

Yep, that looks like there is no way to do a wholesale deletion of ground sections other than 1 by 1. The map looks like as good place but as you say nothing there.

If even deleting entire baseboards is too tedious for you you must be trying to delete a mighty lot of a route!

I agree this is a badly needed feature especially if you've imported DEM-created terrains where there are many more baseboards than really needed for the route.

This could be done using a map view and a marquee to select the baseboards to be deleted.

I've actually posted a request in the Suggestion Boxcar about this.
