Having messed around with the program for awhile and having downloaded the awesome geeps from CNR, I ask:
Is the default F7 and the JoshEH geeps too short in height?
I looked up the height of a F7 in my MR cyclopedia 2- Diesel Locomotives, the height of a f7, its 14 feet and 1/2 inches at the top of the cab, as measured from the rail head.
Same book lists the GP9 as a height of 14 feet 6 inches to the top of the cab, as measured from the rail head.
I compared the Stock f7 with one of CNRs MRL gp9s, and it is WAY shorter than the gp9
It appears than the gp9 off of the dls is the same height as the stock F7, which is shorter than it is supposed to be.
Was this done for a reason?
I tried looking for info here on the board, but came up empty.
