OK, i've wasted 4 hours this morning. Now it's time to in the cavalry. I'm to install a Decker NG3 Industry. I've never installed this kind before. I'm using normal track although it doesn't like its connected but you it on the circle and appears to snap in. (whats the red line?). I'm using Lgs %)ft clinch empty. Also AI control. Driver Setup -couple-navigation to -decker -log pickup-load. Its couple moves toward the Decker a little then stops. By the way this is 2010.

Thanks for your help

well, one thing is that you are supposed to use 3ft gauge log cars, but that wouldn't produce your problem. Did you connect enough track to the other side so that the AI doesn't think that the track is ending?

well, I believe there should be some built in... try searching in game in the rolling stock for ng36 or something like that.

You will find the standard gauge version of the Decker in the Port Ogden & Northern. Look in the Armour and Fowlis forestry areas.

Make sure that the logs the Decker produces and the the logs that can be loaded on the log cars are the same. Configure the Decker to produce logs and I'd suggest trying manual control to see if it works.

If you search the DLS for content by "slugsmasher" you should find some appropriate freight cars.

You have the Northbay County route in TS2010. There is a working 3' gauge Decker unit installed on that, that should give you an idea what to do. You will also find working log cars. Explore that route it gives you all you needed for working with logging traffic.
