Okay, I'm curious, is it just me, or has anyone else noticed a definite uncharacteristic lag when posting to a thread or using the "new post" button?

I noticed the same thing Ed. I thought about starting a thread about it too, but I was afraid that it might be 2012 before I could get the thread posted.:hehe: It still might be before this posts decides to post.

You are correct Ed, it is very "laggy" all day today just looking at the forum pages, let alone posting or replying to a post. My Inet speed is usually around 8-11 mbits/sec, any other page loads normal but not AURAN/N3Vs.

Must be the early New Years eve celebrations down the Brisbane's office.

New computers...

That happens about this time every year, the Christmas Day computers get Internet service and the owner/user finally gets online...the thrill will wain soon.:hehe:

I had the idea the forum was down for about 30 minutes yesterday.

There is a lot of people home for the holidays, so probably a LOT more people browsing the forum then normal and as a result a lot slower response time from the webserver.

Something tells me it will all be back to normal January 2nd .

There was no connection for me late yesterday afternoon UTC for around 30 minutes, but only for the Forum. Planet Auran connected OK, as did every other site I browsed during that period.

Today is veeeery sloooow still here in the UK, particularly in the Forum areas Euphod mentions, and some others.

I'm not sure it's too uncharacteristic for the time of year. There usually is a problem either in the Forum and/or DLS from late December until early to mid January.

Wicked slow, Ed. The Auran website too as well as the forums. I ended going to forums.auran.com instead of the www.auran.com then clicking on the forums.

I guess a lot of new people are using Trainz today and the forums and website are bit busy.
