How do I paste an image of the data base repair results so I can get some help on how to fix the problems I'm having with the 123 errors I have. This is do or die gentleman , I love this game but man I just can't get a handle on how to make it all work right. Im using Trainz 2010 and win 7 4gb ram I-5 intel navidia 420m on an XPS Dell laptop. Oh and the build is 44088. Any help would be appreciated.

You don't really need to copy the database repair info. In fact you wouldn't really want to because a lot of them are things that were repaired by the dbr. In CM search for Faulty = True. This will list all of the assets that CM thinks have errors. Right click on each of the faulty items and choose View Errors & Warnings from the pop-up menu. This will pop-up a list of what is wrong with the asset.

Sometimes (almost always actually) after a dbr, some assets will be listed as faulty that aren't really. When you choose View Errors & Warnings there won't be anything listed and it will say "0 errors, 0 warnings" at the top of pop-up. In most cases, that's enough to cause CM to realize that the asset really isn't really faulty though it make take a couple of minutes for the item to disappear from the list. In a few cases you may have to open the item for edit and then revert (or commit) it.

Read the sticky in the TS2010 forum regarding assets incorrectly marked as faulty and follow Zec's advice. If these assets are still faulty i.e. were downloaded, then you will either have to learn how to fix them or wait for someone else to do so. There is a large project underway to update DLS content to work in TS09/10/12, but it's not complete, and doesn't affect content stored on third-party sites.

Most errors are not that difficult to repair and tools do exist to expedite matters. If there is an asset that you need help with post it in the 2010 forum and we will help you work through them.

Thanks for the quick replies. I went to cm. and did faulty =true and on all the ATLS triggers it said (SCRIPT FILE ATLS TRIGGER DOES NOT EXIST) on all the ATLS assets it says pretty much the same. I f I can get this maybe I can understand how to fix all the other assets that are not working.Any ideas? Ive got a fairly nice route I created , but I have no crossing gates working or signaling. All of these are in red in surveyor. Thanks in advance for any help. Jack----

Hi Jack,

The latest versions of all ATLS assets are fully compatible with TS 2010 and do not require any fixing. I suggest you re-download them from the DLS.

Failing that, from what you say you may even need to re-install Trainz!

data base repair

Thanks Boat, I have tried to re-download all the assets that show up in CM as faulty with out any succes. I downloaded some freeware from jointed rail the other day to see if it would work and it also is faulty , so it appears I have some poblems here. If a reinenstall is what I have to do , so be it. Is there anything I need to do in order to make sure Trainz is completly and totaly removed , other than going to programs and features and deleting it. Does that leave anything behind in the computer that I need to take special steps to get rid of. Thanks for taking the time to help me , I really do appreciate it. Jack
