CSX Saginaw Sub 5.0

Michigan Trainz
Well, after a large break. I'm back to route building in a new twist! Now with the awsome power of my new PC, I'm remodeling the classic Chrisracer route that is the CSX Saginaw Sub! It has suburb detail that is true to the real one. If that house has a Ford Escape on the drive-way in real life, the Trainz version does! The route will also be extended south of Toledo to Walbridge, Ohio. Also, the west end of South Lyon on the Plymouth Sub will be extended to the MSU Coal Plant at Michigan State University that CSX and BNSF serve. Now I might possibly include the Conrail Lincoln Secondary to Lincoln Park or that might be Version 6.0. I will from now on be working on this route everytime I explore it and stuff. My old sessions are still compatable with the newer versions, plus new sessions, too! Also, custom buildings will be made! Here's some shots around the Plymouth area! Enjoy!

Thanks for the comments. It's SERIOUSLY as real as it can get! This is where I live! This is what I see everyday! That one pic of the 3 cars next to the Relay Box; Those 3 cars are really parked there in real life IN THOSE COLORS! That's how accurate this is!

2 requirements for this route is:

atleast 2Ghz processor (For best FPS)
and Service Pack 1. -Chris

Yeah this area of Detroit. Both lines at the diamond is CSX and trackage rights with CP Rail, but BNSF runs a few reefer and Powder River Coal trains a week thru here. -Chris

wow this looks fantastic!! the difference a pc could make eh ?? anways looking foward to this route ive been on a like break from trainz myself but now back into it, after all thinking about it ive been playing it since 2004!!:p

Some new pics for you guys. I'm going to work south to Toledo and first then east to Rougemere. I'm gonna be detailing before extending anything else first. I'm really taking my time on this route to add the major details that are on the real route. Here's some shots of the tracks thru Canton Township and Westland area.

One of CSX's major locals from Plymouth North Yard to the Home Depot Lumber Building and is going to soon cross Warren Road. Note in the background twords the left is the "Newer" K-Mart Distribution Center. The old one (Off camera to the left) was serivced by Chessie System/ CSX. But now the "newer" one may go to lease like every other industrial building off of Warren Road. It goes to show you what Michigan's Economy is now. :p

The same area at another angle. Alot of truck drivers stop and rest at this spot from the nearby I-275 Freeway.

Here's Koppernick Road and the Koppernick Trail that goes in the "West Veiw Subdivision" in the foreground.
sou5eo6.jpg

Crossing over Warren Road past the old Lilly Farm that is now a farm storage place.

Other side of Warren Road where there is an RV/Trailer storage lot.

Looking north twords Plymouth as the sun sets on this warm summer evening. Enjoy! -Chris
