CSX Saginaw Sub 5.0

Awesome

Wow! Great Route!:D I really need to reconsider my PC's strength.:( Well, you can't have everything.:)

Thanks guys! Here's a small update on the route. I'm twords Wayne Diamond with the NS Michigan Line and the Ford Truck Plant next to U.S. 12.

The wonderful Ford Road! This road has all the cool places to hang-out plus business landmarks such as Ikea. Wal Mart, Canton Cinima, Target, and my favorite: Sportway Go Kart & Mini Golf Place :D. Some areas of the golf course you can see the CSX line while playing.

Cherry Hill Road crossing.

Crossing Newburg Road and entering the north-end of Newburg Yard.

This is the south-end of Newburg Yard at Palmer Park where can play sports, jungle-gym, picnics, public BBQs. Me and my grandma go railfanning here on summer evenings and eat fried chicken. Those are good times.

I have to work the next two days  . But next I will be working on Wayne Diamond where ALOT of action is. There is ALOT of work to do, but it will be worth it! -Chris

A well needed update is here! Next on our tour South on the Saginaw Sub is Wayne. A moderatly large suburban city west of Detroit. It's main area of interest is the Ford Truck Plant located right on the Diamond of the CSX Saginaw Sub and NS Michigan Line. The NS Michigan Line was former Conrail until the Split in 1996. The line was Penn Central before that, but today it's NS and the Amtrak Wolverine runs thru here to Chicago-Dearborn/ Pontiac.

Looking south on CSX twords the Plant's yard in the distance.

A veiw of the yard tower off of Michigan Avenue (U.S. 12).

A veiw of the Ford Plant in the opposite direction,
wayne4lk5.jpg

Looking west at the NS's Plant Yard on the Michigan Line. NS here is always quiet and doesn't run much until the late afternoon/ early evening. CSX has more action here than NS at times:D , but you'll see BNSF and ex-Conrail power in the NS yard often.
wayne5em7.jpg

A northbound CSX train from Walbridge, Ohio pounds the NS Diamond.
wayne6bt0.jpg

Same train passing Newburg Yard and crossing Newburg Road North of the Ford Plant and heading to Plymouth.
wayne7md2.jpg

Back at Wayne we see an Amtrak Wolverine speeding west thru wayne next to NS's car repair track (How about repairing that siding huh? :p ). When I first came to this spot with my grandma when I was 9, I was suprised to see this track still in use.

Amtrak train crossing the CSX diamond (This is south of the Diamond on Anapolis Street).

More!

The west exit of NS's Yard at the Ford Plant. On the right side of the pic in the horizon is the Wayne Landfill Site and its huge!
wayne10lc0.jpg

Afterwards an NS local comes out of the yard eastbound to switch at the industries in Dearborn and maybe go to Livernoise Yard (Will be included in the final product).
wayne12yu5.jpg

The NS goes up to Notch-8 as it approaches Wayne Road.

And our final shot of the Ford Truck Plant at night.

Enjoy my friends :D. -Chris

Another freight train about to cross Romuls Diamond as an NS local from Oakwood Yard waits for CSX to clear.

My suggestion is to keep it low poly and not add to much stuff, seeing as much of as don't have the luxury of a new computer. But regardless nice work and keep it up.:D

It's not as high-poly as it looks, majority of the detail is close and splines. If you have atleast 1.8ghz it should run well. I personally have 2.15ghz Dual Core so it should be fine. -Chris

Yeah, sounds good but my computer throws its little fits and anything thats to big, my computer will simply die even though I have what you mentioned not yours but the other. But however there is no harm in trying it.If it will allow it lol.
