Hi All,
For security reasons, my gaming "Trainz" computer is completely stand-alone, i.e. not connected to the internet. Over the past couple of years this has proved very beneficial, no viruses, etc. I wish to create my own new assets via C.C.P. in 2009/2010. Because of no internet connection , CMP is: "unable to proceed as your user I.D. has not yet been retrieved from Planet Auran. " This error message then goes on to say: "If you do not have an internet connection, you can set it on the Internet Tab in the Settings window." I have tried setting my username and password in the appropiate fields - my user I.D. number cannot be entered as the I.D. pane is non-editable. As a result, I cannot create any of my own new assets directly in 2009 or 2010. Does anyone know of a work-around for this, or have I perhaps mis-interpreted the above message? As a temporary fix, I am creating via 2006, saving to CDP, then importing into 2009/2010, but this is becoming tedious with a lot of asset creation. Any help much appreciated. Thanks.
Cheers, Fender
