Coupler Change (?)

Is it possible to replace the existing couplers on rollingstock/locos with other couplers, without it being complicated?

By changing the config file bogey kuid in 2 places (top & bottom).

Always clone an asset ... and experiment on the Clone.

Altering the cnfig file: username tag slightly will help you differentiate, ie: NS SD40-2 Clone

No ... The only thing I know about is the Norweigen Blue ... beautiful plumeage ... it prefers kipping on it's back: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npjOSLCR2hE

Most rolling stock have the couplers as part of the assets mesh file, not as part of the bogies. Hence, changing them requires a modification to the mesh file which only the author can do.
