Couple At Trackmark Problem?

The trigger, Couple At Trackmark, is not allowing the train it is associated with to couple to the car in proximity to the trigger. I have tried moving the trigger but the best I can get is the coupling engine will Begin to move before the "triggering" arrives. Only the trigger should cause the movement.

There are no instructions attached to the trigger so all the above is a guess.

That was it!! The Trigger now faces the black end of the trackmark.

The waiting engine coupled to the "dropped cars" and made its deliveries.
The original engine returned to the portal.

For 2 days I fought this. Sure would be nice if authors add instructions..

THANKS!! you saved me from changing hobbies. I can put the Ham radio back on the shelf.

Interesting, and hope I remember it. I normally just specify which car to couple to, but if you have repeat drop offs to same location then that'll change. And I agree, some authors fail to provide any info when clearly it's needed.

You also have to remember that if you are generating incoming traffic ,with a portal, the identifying asset title is different for each output of the portal. Then you can't use the ID of the car since it always changes. This goodie is the key in that case.

There is a big world out there so your favorite route may be more interesting with portals creating and consuming traffic from the "big outside world". Portal Basic does work in 11951 when used with Central Portal Control. I like the Instant Emit feature of a train when the route starts. Great for debugging so no waiting for a test of your latest change. Of course, that feature is optional.

Another Thanks for the tip...https://forums.auran.com/trainz/member.php?880564-danddhud
