Firstly, decide which items you want to port across to another computer.
Go into Content Manager in TRS2006 and select each item you want to burn on to CD.
Right click the mouse, select "Show Dependencies" and write down the list of dependencies therein.
Now, once your list is complete, go through your shopping list one by one, right click and choose "Save to CDP" and select a folder to save the cdp files into.
When you have all your items, burn the cdp files on to a cd.
Open up TRS2009 Content Manager on the other computer, load the cd and under "File" select "Import from cdp". From the "browse" menu that appears, navigate to your cd drive and select all the cdp files.
Once the computer hs imported them, go to the tab "Open For Edit". If your imported content shows up there, select all the files and with a Right Mouse Click select "Edit" and then "Commit".
..........Be prepared for the fact that some of your imported content may show up as "Faulty" because not all content from previous versions meets the TRS2009 standards. Not all the faults prevent the affected models from showing up and being perfectly useable in TRS2009, but the fault corrections are the subject of a whole new discussion topic!
Hope this helps you!
