Copy Paste Question?

I have never used the Copy/Paste function. I am using TANE SP1 build 80349. Today I instructed a yard and I wanted to use the same one at the other end of my route. I tried to copy it and paste it on the other end of my route. I selected the area to copy but I couldn't figure out how to copy it. I couldn't find a button to click on to copy. The green arrow showed up on the Paste button so I went to the area to paste and clicked on the green arrow but nothing showed up in the area. I need some instructions on how to Copy/Paste......Thanks.....

There is no 'Copy' as such. Use the Select Area button and select your area. This is the area that will be copied and pasted when you use Paste.

If an area has been properly selected there will be a white dashed rectangle available when you select the Paste arrow button to indicate where it will paste to. If that doesn't appear you haven't selected an area. If it does appear but nothing happens when you paste then perhaps you have deselected all four of the paste option buttons.
