Content won't work.

Since loading TS2010 Eng. Edition, I have not been able to run the content manager. The following message appears:

[FONT=Helvetica, sans-serif]ContentManager.exe [/FONT][FONT=Helvetica, sans-serif]- [/FONT][FONT=Helvetica, sans-serif]Unable To Locate Component
This application has failed to start because d3dh9-42.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

In the normal upgrade process, Windows Vista has upgraded to DirectX 10. [/FONT]

I have TS2010EE and Win7-64. I did a search on my machine and I can't find d3dh9-42.dll either. My Trainz work just fine.

Have you tried clicking on the contentmanager.exe file directly. It can be found in the auran/TS2010/Bin folder. I'd try that and see if it works. If it does then something is wrong with the shortcut.

You might try shutting down your computer, restarting and trying again.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?

Tried this and still no result. And yes I did re-install.

This may seem an odd question, but is DirectX 9.0C (August 2009 or February 2010) installed?

If not, this may be the problem although I haven't seen that filename before but it seems like a DirectX file (or a video card driver file)
