content updates

hi guys new to trainz and love it but on main menu says I have 2116 content updates is there anyway I can download them in 1 go or do u have to download them 1 at a time will take forever grrrrrrrrr

Welcome Leecofield there should be another option say's " Download All " right beside the " Download one at a time and take for ever " button LOL.

hi no there is no download all option just a list and a download button botton right and return to menu button on trainz engineer 2010

Sorry then Leecofield i havn't opened up that version for awhile mate so as you say it could be different, Hopefully sum body more learned then myself will have an answer for you shortly.

It is possible to do it using Content Manager, but only if you've got a First Class Ticket (due to the sizes involved). See the thread in my signature for a link to my Content Updates tutorial.

Click the download button, and THEN click "download all"

'Download All' is not an option in TS2010 in-game, as updates can only be downloaded one at a time in-game using the Content Updates feature. The Download All feature was added in TS12.

Dont download any and just update the ones you come across in various routes and assets you wish to use.
You will probably find most of them you will never use so why waste the time.
