try this wipe the cd disk off,,,when you run cmp it will ask you for your
number

It depends where he got the set of discs from...the ones directly from Auran you do not need the disc in to run trainz... However some other companies that are allowed to sell trainz use the disc in drive method to try and reduce piracy.. Not to mention the disc shouldn't have any bearing on this issue regradless of this
Have you entered your username and password into the options section of CMP? Have you actually registered the game under your username? Is the game new or used?
