Hey guys, i have know idea how to use this content dispatcher and manager. If anyone can write me a manual ( lol) to use these two programs, that would be very appreiciated. i am having troubles with importing the loco's and wagons into trainz, i dont know how to do it. Please i need help!!

Here's your manual.
1. Start Content Manager.
2. Click File - Miscellaneous and make sure the option box 'Automatically commit when installing CDPs' is checked.
3. Select the All tab at the top.
4. Find the desired loco or wagon in the Main list.
5. Right click it and select Download.
6. Done!

Now, if you happen to be dealing with content from a source other than the DLS, then get it on your PC somewhere, whether it be a CDP file or a folder with content in it. The open the CM and choose "file" then either "Import Content" or "Import CDP" and then browse to the place where either is ready, and select it. CM will then import the item into your database.

Hey guys urgent stuff. I finally got ts 2010 working, and i followed the plan aove and proceeded to download the cdp in the drop down file menu, in content manager. This is what happend when i launched trainz via the content manager:

Don't know Pat, but considering what you've gone through recently I would suggest doing an Extended Database Repair before you panic...

If your OS is Windows 7, are you running Trainz as Administrator?

I am using windows xp and administrator. How to i get all the default content that came with the game to work again?
and should i re download the content that had those errors ??

Can you open your "Open for Edit" folder and then choose all and revert to original?
