I am having problems with creating a session for my new Clovis 2 route. The session generally crashes approximately one hour in, but will absolutely crash if an attempt is made to save the session. The crash is related to KernelStandard_7c.dll
The route is big - over 100 miles and the trains are long but there are only eight trains on the route when it crashes. If the game crashes while running the crash is preceded by a few seconds of texture problems, either the ground texture goes transparent or one or more locos go white. Up to that point things are running smooth as silk, no stuttering. I had assumed not enough RAM so I put another 2Gig in the machine today for a total of 4Gig on an XP machine but no improvement.
Anybody hazard a guess as to what the problem might be? I'm guessing the vid card is a bottleneck, but that doesn't explain the crash-while-saving thing...
TRS06 running on Intel E6300 dual core, 4Gig PC6400 DDR2 RAM, 7600GT 256Mb VidCard, XP.
System is on a 500Gig HD, about 95% empty. Trainz is on its own 180 Gig HD, 75% empty. Huge page file on both HDs....
