Considering Buying - Content and Misc.

Ok, I caved and bought '12 edition.....should be done downloading by the time I wake up tomorrow:) Thanks again for all the kind help everyone provided.

Hehe, I was waiting in the wings for your decision.

Congratulations on your decision, and feel free always to post questions, provide feedback to others, etc. In this forum you'll find to be a pretty even tempered group of people here. There are a few old grumpy farts but just ignore them! ;)

You'll find that this program (not a game) will provide you with hours of enjoyment, tears, and utter amazement at the same time. There's so much more to it than meets the eye, trust me. :D

Over the weekend, I spent over 12 hours using Trainz. I worked on my route, then drove a complete day's worth, doing a little bit of switching, driving some long distance freights, and even riding a commuter train I had set up. Now my personal route is about 150 miles end to end with much landscaped and operating, and yet more still to always do.

Thanks for the additional info....I actually bought the download version from Amazon which it states is from N3V so not worried about used copy:) I have purchased other games from there and has gone well. It is not like Steam where you have to use their special software and limited by their updates. Basically just downloads the contents of the CD/DVD and you install as normal.

Thanks and to be honest, it has been the great support received from the forum members that pushed me over the edge:) I like being able to interact and freely ask questions and this looks like the place to do it!!!

Now I just have to wait until it fully downloads, which likely won't be until after I go to bed:(
