Ok, I caved and bought '12 edition.....should be done downloading by the time I wake up tomorrowThanks again for all the kind help everyone provided.
Hehe, I was waiting in the wings for your decision.
Congratulations on your decision, and feel free always to post questions, provide feedback to others, etc. In this forum you'll find to be a pretty even tempered group of people here. There are a few old grumpy farts but just ignore them!

You'll find that this program (not a game) will provide you with hours of enjoyment, tears, and utter amazement at the same time. There's so much more to it than meets the eye, trust me.

Over the weekend, I spent over 12 hours using Trainz. I worked on my route, then drove a complete day's worth, doing a little bit of switching, driving some long distance freights, and even riding a commuter train I had set up. Now my personal route is about 150 miles end to end with much landscaped and operating, and yet more still to always do.
