I know most have heard me complain about my script errors on a lot of my content but I'm just going to give the details about my computer:

Manufacturer: Dell
Model: Inspiron 531
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ 2.60 GHz
Memory(RAM): 2.00 GB
System Type: 32-bit Operating System

Script errors have nothing to do with your computer specs.

Yes but its nice to blame it on the computer.

Reality is scripts can conflict with each other so sometimes adding a loco or a item of rolling stock one at a time can help to identify the problem assets. Win 7 might be a bit more table than Vista.

Check out my post on the TTX Maxi-IV cars and you'll see what I'm talking about.

All it says is you are having script errors. I suggest you create a test layout with nothing but track then add the cars. I think you'll find they work fine.

The problem probably is scripts can interfere with each other and you have two scripts on different assets present that interact. Unfortunately that's the way N3V have set scripting up.

I'm not certain what to advise, I understand most Jointed Rail items are payware. If you lived in the UK and purchased retail they have consumer protection laws that essentially say products should work as advertised.

N3V don't like you mentioning payware problems in the forum I don't think there is very much you can do except put a suggestion in the suggestion box that says scripts should be better isolated.

To avoid problems with scripts you really want to use a mesh that lots of other people have used and ideally have been written by one of the script specialists.

Not so much that the specialists are that much better but simply on the freeware side often a working script will be copied from an existing asset. This at least ensures that the two assets should work together. Unfortunately because the scripts are copyrighted or even encrypted in some cases many payware creators create their own scripts. I have many years programming experience but one thing I don't do is write scripts because its so difficult to test them to ensure they don't interact with other scripts.

So aim for DLS or TPR content that has high download counts the more copies of the script that are out there the more likely it is that it will work since someone else will have uncovered the problem before you.

The JR maxi cars are freeware.
I've just put a set down and loaded them in surveyor with no warnings or red dots.
