Well mines pretty poor, 2338 although it deducted 20% off parts of the test because it couldn't run at 1920x1080 resolution.

There have been lots of similar threads over the years. Given this is a Trainz forum, perhaps the best indicator of performance would be FPS achieved 'in game' on a set default route to establish a benchmark. Outright 'grunt' is directly related to a price mark. Many of us are retired and live on a budget. We do what we can to get Trainz to run at a level we are happy with by adjusting in game variables. At my age, I am not into the 'mine is bigger than yours'. Mine does the job of running Trainz to my satisfaction.

i understand where you are coming from, i am on disability, i work with what i have i was just curious on what kind of performance others were getting, i am on a fixed income and i know how to pinch a penny, when it comes to building a pc.

Trouble is it may not relate to Trainz performance, its not clear what it measures and Trainz these days is more GPU dependent than CPU dependent, even the hard disk has a minor impact.

Couldn't have said it better. Motion of the ocean, not the size of the boat.
