Here's my situation:I bought TRS2006. I have installed it. I have installed rail driver, etc. Now...all I want to run is 1) The pacific surfliner download from the DLS and 2) The Amtrak #7 run from Marias Pass approach which I installed from the routes 1-4 disk in the complete collection CD pack. I'd also like to run the Southwest Chief from the DLS and any other long hall stuff I can get FOR FREE. I only want to use freeware at this point. I have tried using the download station and things appear to download but then they don't show up in trainz when I run it. ALSO, I need help with how I can change the engine they use on the Amtrak #7 scenario, from that Santa Fe crap to what is actually used, the Genesis with Amtrak livery. What I would really love from anyone who is gracious enough to do it, is a STEP BY STEP hand holding if you will, starting at the point right after the installation of TRS2006 to show me how to achieve all this. I am just not savy enough with the computer to figure all this out and it seems that I'm missing something with all the unpacking of files and the download station with all the missing dependants, things open for edit, etc and so forth. I appreciate anyones time helping me. I use windows/xp and I have 512ram. Thank you very very much for your help.
