Combining Content Libraries

I recently purchased Trainz a new era on steam with a bunch of expansion packs and I also own Trainz Model Railroad Simulator, is there a way to combine the content libraries for the two games so I don't have to re-download and find all the content I was using previously? Is there a way for both games to use the same one? Thanks for you help.

I have 40-50 locos and rolling stock from MSTS, original 3D designs and reprints, so I would be interested in how converting any of these might be possible.

Possible yes, practical no. You have to remake a lot and they will not look as good as new Trainz models. There are a number of post on this.
