Coal Country 2.0 - Official Route WIP Thread

I've downloaded the route and so far everything is going well. I'm missing a few dependencies but all the rolling stock and locomotives needed are here. However, in the sessions no locomotives are assigned drivers and none of the AI trains do anything. The screenshot below is from the "Tuesday Mine Run" session. I'm of course able to assign drivers to all the trains, but this again doesn't solve the AI train issue. All waypoints work as advertised.
Did you let the scinematics play through or skip them? You should end up in the cab at the end of the cinematics.

Also in the first release I didnt realize some of the drivers were listed at "packaged" and not installed, if you're missing these drivers download the route and session file again. This has been updated in the latest version in the download area.

EDIT: The drivers are still not present, even with a reinstall of the route and its sessions.

Did you let the scinematics play through or skip them? You should end up in the cab at the end of the cinematics.

Yes, I did! I was able to drive the locomotives once I entered (and manually added a driver). The AI trains had no drivers and thus would block the tracks I had to be on.

For anyone interested in the RP&P, if you download the sd40-2 file again from your download area, the first skin for the loco has been modified for Operation Lifesaver, I thought it would add some more variety to the fleet.

Not sure then, can you lodge a ticket with JR? looking at your screens in USA Pics, you are missing textures and stuff too.
 
In the process of an update to Coal Country 2, I reallly dont want to call it 2.1 but might have to.
Had some good feedback from those in the know on tweaks I should do to the signalling, also adding a lot more vegetation, different crossing bells, road linemarking, relocated switchstands align correctly and using the brilliant "AH" series of buildings from Derznovich, check them out they're great!

scratchy, I'm assuming the chute is animated according the Facebook post "loader head will swing out of the way for trains entering the loader" Am I right in assuming Justin he has wrote some code "to make the animated chute work".

I ain't got the original, and I'm noticing that specifically the RP&P Dome Car, Shoving Platform, and Transfer Caboose included in the scenarios are marked as separate payware and are unactive because of such. Is there any way to rectify this aside from just buying the original route, or is that my only option here? (Edit. Nevermind, I just hit "submit edits" and it fixed the issues. Ah well, we live and learn, ey?)

I bought the original a while back, do I need to pay again for the updated version? I guess so, otherwise purchasers of the original route would have been able to download the new version for nothing. I see though that you expanded the route but the track mostly loops around and crosses over the original route. And K&L has a mallet steam locomotive for $8.
 
I reinstalled the original Coal Country and two deps, dead grass by s301 are fauty with missing texture errors and the textures are the newer format and can't be fixed with the pev tool, what do I do? And I'm missing several deps by s301, two by Auran, and one by Jerker that are unknown.
