My bad! They're not from K&L but from Trainz Forge's "Exposition Flyer" (aka "The Weed Coaches").

They are stopped since a long time (and decoupled from the loco).

If that is what HPL is seeing, it is pretty cool. I never thought of the possibility of scripting that but it makes sense.

@HPL - Might be a good idea of recording some video showing the "smoke" as it appears/disappears?
Could show us a possible trigger.

Didn't see the smoke appearing/disappearing: it wasn't there, then it was when I returned to the same place. It never disappears.

That's how the brakes are on my Jeep!

Anyway, I thought the smoke was steam from steam heaters used to heat the coaches from the HEP unit. Way back when I was young, I remember seeing that on the few long-distance trains that used to pull into North Station in Boston. They were lettered for Canadian National and I think they went to Montreal at the time via Concord, NH and over the Northern Railroad.

Yeah my thought too, Steam heating pipe leak between coaches, looks like the script to make them join is broken, tried the UK coaches that have steam heating do they have same problem?
