CN Holly SubDivision Pontiac Yard Ops session in TS12

If you haven't tried CMTM get this session, runs great in TS2010.

Tried running the session in a clean copy of TS12. Took a while to find all the missing rules. The AI trains don't work.

The CMTM works great.

Also the TS12 screen lacks the TS2010 interface making CMTM harder to work. All the "message, instruction buttons, etc." are gone. Some "genius" decided to put them up in a pull down, why?

CMTM makes Trainz the top simulator because it, well, simulates railroad operations. Nothing else does!!

I loaded the TS2010 content into TS12.

It is the TS2010 route.

Cheers, senior moment.

The common data dependency needs to be opened for edit then committed otherwise the rules are faulty.

I found if you try and use routes from 2010 in 12 from the DLS they don't work. I loaded Downtown Traction from DLS into 12 to run the CMTM session and the locomotive was faulty.

Put the 2010 content in 12 and the same loco works.

Go figure!

The AI trainz had the direction wrong. They work now after reversing the direction.

No Portal Trainz scheduled.

Guess it is back to TS2010 to run the session.

Will add them in TS12 and see if I can get it to work.

Thanks
Harold

Deleted an Reloaded.

Now have Portal Trainz scheduled.

Need direction reversed.

Getting it working

Harold

Should have the AI Trainz fixed, turned them around and set the correct direction. Tested them one by one with an early time and they all work.

Will run the session tomorrow

Harold

The Local from GM2, the one leaving at 7:44, won't show routing with the loco attached.

Edit the session and uncouple the loco and the routing shows. Couple the loco to the train in driver and the routing is still there.

Changed locos still the same.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAArgh!!!

Decided to start over, couldn't download the "sys" file so I brought over the one from the TS2010 install.

I get the local train with routing!

Harold,
The crossover just before pontiac transport center trackmark (towards detroit portal from pontiac yard), I've found it's not in the route but only the session layer, so you have to run without saving or merge layers.
Flint portal wasn't recognised by charlie, had to drive him in.
On finally finishing, no day 2 came up, most peeved by that. Maybe because of charlie.

There is only day 1 for the CN Holly Sub Pontiac Yard Ops session. It was created for the Big Session Contest last year and as such was limited to a 2 hr session. Sorry to disappoint you. Didn't realize it was having problems in TS12.

I have not changed any of my code for CMTMSystem2. If this is true, someone has done it without my permission.

The comment about the TS2010 "screen" interface HUD has nothing to do with CMTM. The old 2010 screen just had all the "buttons" on-screen the TS12 screen interface is a pain even when not using CMTM.

If you add the CMTM script from the CMTMSystem2 asset and adjust the config.txt for multiple days it can be played indefinitely. CMTM is very flexible.

TS12 seems to miss things. The Payware Marias Pass has scripting problems in the sightseer session when run in TS12 and has to be adjusted.

I upgraded "VR Hither and Yon" to CMTMSystem2 and is really fun. I am running it in TS12.

I also upgraded Huron to CMTMSystem2 but have not tried it in TS12. Still working on train "scheduling".

CMTM is great and thank you for your effort.

Harold,

Guess I misunderstood what you were saying. Glad you are enjoying CMTM. Version3 is about to be released.
