I was going to download stuff on CMP but then nothing came up and I have my username and password correct and I have internet is their a issue with the server?:o

Working okay here on 2010 and 12 content mangler. Try shutting it down, wait about 5 minutes, then reboot the system.

Why in the world would rebooting your computer system fix something wrong with N3V's servers? My 2012 DLS access was screwed up today also.

They have internet in Arkansas?

Big problem from last September, Dave, probably something to do with the server changeover. Gotta do an EDR or go into the \UserData folder, select the \cache folder AND the assets.tdx file and delete both forcing a cache rebuild. What's really needed is a clear cache button.

Unfortunately it's not a high priority since it allegedly works for 99%.

It wouldn't fix their server, but if the server gets the hiccups and you start content manager, content manager sees the server is offline and gets lazy, stores that info in RAM so shutting down content mangler and restarting it doesn't fix it because it's just loading the previously stored failure instead of checking again. Rebooting the computer to clear RAM and reset everything was the first troubleshooting step back in the days of DOS and dinosaurs, and despite claims about Windows XP releasing and clearing memory better than 98SE did, I haven't seen any real evidence that it's true.
