Class 91s and Mk4 DVT

I realise that this has been asked several times before and according to my searches, the most recent post was in 2007. Apologies if this is not the case.

I got hold of Peter Hicks' excellent Class 91 and Mk4 stock but found that only one version of the 91 works and the DVT doesn't work at all. As far as I can tell, I've downloaded all the necessary items for both. I had a look at Peter's site and noticed the last update was in 2007 and I can find nothing relating to these items of rolling stock since then anywhere.

Can anyone help me out here please?

Your not alone!I have experienced the same problem!they do show up but cant be seen in editor,neither in the workshops!
So we both(and everyone owning them are experiencing it!

I had this problem with some of Peter's Class 91 some time ago. I did not keep a note of what I did to correct this but I think it was a problem in the Script file. I have all three working (91, 91 red pantograph, and DVT). Look in the .gs script file and see if any of them has "isclass vehicle". If they have, change it to "isclass locomotive" then save and commit.

If this does not solve the problem let me know and I will look further into it. By the way, I assume no errors are showing in CM3 and that you have the latest versions kuid2:xxxxx:xxxxx:1.

I have the DVT working but there is a sc ript error that eventually manifests itself into the consist that the DVT is in, grinds to a halt.The gse script file contains the "isclass locomotive line. Also the wipers are n continually and when in cab view the position is close to the floor and I am unable to see out the front windows.

Do you have the up to date kuid for the GNER MK4(DVT) kuid2:116035:82001:1.

Is the script file called mk4_dvt.gs.

At the start of the script file does it say:

include "locomotive.gs"
include "library.gs"
include "asset.gs"

Ignoring the comment lines immediately below these lines, does the next executable line read:
class mk4_dvt isclass Locomotive

I am running the DVT in TS2010 build 44088 without any problems with the wipers, or the consist stopping, or with the view from the cab either being attached too low or not seeing out of the windows and no red button errors.

Does the red button script error show either when running the DVT on it's own or when it is coupled to the other units.

I cannot remember exactly what I did when I modified the script file but it was either to change to (isclass Locomotive) if the original said Vehicle, or add the line (include "locomotive.gs").

Thanks for your help Scottish. Yes my gs file has that exact notation and I am running Build 44088. The item is buggy on its own and also makes whatever consist it is in buggy too. I have a workaround though. I simply deleted the .gse file and deleted any mention of it in the config file. It works and that is ok with me. Thanks again.

Anyone know where any MK3 DVTs are on the DLS I need one to be repainted into NXEA blue and white livery.
