City of New Orleans...Video with Music

This a video of that famous tune about a famous train "The City of New Oleans".

The song "The City of New Orleans" was written by Steve Goodman to honor the train "City of New Orleans" but mostly to honor railroading in general and make a statement about railroads and rails fading from our culture. The story goes that Steve Goodman was riding on the "City of New Orleans" and penned this famous tune on a napkin. He later showed the napkin with song to Arlo Guthrie while the two were drinking in a bar, the rest is history.

This video is to honor Steve for one great song and to showcase all the singers that made it famous. Edited with many different singers and edited to follow the song. On for a limited time only.

Clogging The Forum

For someone who posts an average of 3.30 pointless post per day, and 1046 aimless nonsencical posts to date, and endless moronical photos that are totally inept, lacking any quality...who are you to complain and tell others to stop CLOGGING the forum ? I thought the video was great ! Lets see what better you can do ? I'm working on the PRR Horseshoe Curve 1920 (in the works), but I won't update any new photo's untill the route is nearing the finished point with great quality scenes, when it is presentable ! You'll notice the ONLY thread I clog is the ONE thread that I ALONE created, and I edit my ONE post carefully. I don't clog the forum with 1046 annoying posts as you do ! Have some respect of others. Don't be a pest ! Lets see what Quality stuff you can post ? The video was great and did the original singer and others great justice !

Thanks guys and Ish6 thank you very much. I have always loved this music and wanted to do this for a long time. I spent about 3 months on it and used some custom made content as well. Each shot was laid out and timed to match the music. The transistions between singers was not as smooth as I liked but I wanted to include all the major singers that did this tune.
