Changing kuids!

Hello all,
Maybe somebody can shed some light on this for me?
As you may mostly know I have had problems with the last three route uploads. WCL2_Part_Done and Part_Done2 are both on the DS but when you go to download the message 'Page cannot be found' comes up.

Next I tried to upload my latest creation, Blackheath Down and although it went through the same process of uploading and I got the 'successful' bit at the end, this route failed to show at all on the DS.
Tony Hilliam has been 'looking' into this for quite some time now with no results and by accident or design by a 'Higher Authority' Alan Yeomans posted on my Screenshots thread asking about the kuid.

My standard member kuid is 87158 with the asset part to follow, so the WCL routes should ready (as they do on the DS) 87158:103370.
What it actually reads when I open it and I was quite surprised at this, I mean in Dispatcher, is 2:87158:103370:0

The same thing has happened to Blackheath. In the config the kuid is 87158:103771 but when opened in Dispatcher it reads 2:87158:103771:0

The problem I am faced with how to get them to a 'normal' kuid number. I am unable to edit it in Dispatcher when I open the cdp, but it is correct without the 2 or the 0 before and after in the config before saving, so the 'new' kuid is not coming from there, this seems to occur as the cdp is formed.

Yet oddly ALL my routes that are on the DS also have the 2 and 0 on the kuids in Dispatcher but not in the configs, yet they all download fine from there.

A really strange problem and one that I would have thought those at Auran would have spotted straight away - apparently not!

I use 04 so would have gussed that there is no need for prefixes or suffixed parts to the kuid...

Any help would be appreciated.

Dispatcher

Here is the kuid copied straight out of the config
<kuid:87158:103776>
and the one in the Dispatcher
<kuid2:87158:103776:0>

Tried changing it in the config to <kuid:87158:103776:1> but still got the 0 on the end in Dispatcher. And in brackets (new asset)

Putting a 2 in front causes Dispatcher to reject the file as 'not mine'....

It looks as though my copy of Dispatcher has got shot through somehow and is changing numbers!!!

A very puzzled Angela............:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

Hi Angelah,

I posted in your other thread about WCL2_Part_Done and Part_Done2, one is fixed, the other was unfixable and got the yeomans chop.

Blackheath *should* really really should be on the DLS tommorrow.

You are the greatest - really! And yes. you can take that as a massive compliment, you deserve it.
As both WCL's are the same it doesn't matter if one got the 'chop', I am perfectly happy with that.
I look forward to seeing Blackheath Down up and running on the DS soon then, tomorrow or not, I will be happy as long as it gets there.
That is the vsr version, the darker track, I also have a Norfolk track version.
Why? Norfolk is on the DS, the vsr is not and has to be got from another site. So if I send the Norfolk version today can you possibly sort that out too? Asking a bit much I know, but with your wizardry anything may be possible. Thanks Merlin....

God bless,

Angela
