Is this still possible in TRS19? I was able to do this through the commands window in the quickdrive menu of T:ANE, but I cannot find and equivalent in TRS19. Thanks

Have you tried CTRL-Right click on the asset? That should bring up the command list and you can then add them to the driver. The driver must be in AI mode for this to work. If you're still in DCC, it will not work. Click on the three vertical dots in the lower right-hand corner to change the drive mode to AI and then it should work just fine.
To add driver commands, you would Edit Session, then Edit Session, under Driver Commands click Edit, then find the command in the popup list and click the check box, then Save. Now when you back to Driver, the command will be there.

While driving, as noted in a response above, pause, go to the three dots on the lower right and cycle through till you get the commands box in AI mode and add or delete as you wish.
In practice for me, I do a lot of yard switching in manual mode with Raildriver and then switch to AI mode and tell the consist to navigate to the next desired location, as it is proceeding, I will be doing some switching with another consist. I also usually have AI consists emitting from portals and navigating the whole route to terminate in another portal unless I pause and insert a command to divert to an industry like say a consist of coal and it is needed at a power plant and after that is delivered I will then send the emptied consist on to the portal.
In my case, I set up a session but then I can alter the destinations while driving the session, I do not normally use the quickdrive feature.
If you do not see the command you want it may have to be added in the " Edit Session " which should actually be called " Edit Session Rules " / Driver Commands part of the " Create Session " opperation.
