I have a little challenge for those interested:
Try to exceed 2192 mph in a freight car.
I did 2192 today in the Baby Ruth car.

didn't think trainz could send a freight car that fast, i've gotten locomotives to 1,500mph, but thats the fastest i've gotten them to!
i am very interested into how you achieved this.

I made a track from 5000 feet of meters or whatever to -5000.

Sort of unrealistic in physics, as it will travel faster than the terminal velocity of the real thing.

5000 feet of meters...? lol....since you are not sure which is which, perhaps you achieved kph instead of mph...

I remember when the rocket cow asset was first released, and people made huge "ski jumps" to see how far they could get it to fly. I never tried it, but I thought it would have been entertaining to put tunnels at the other end to see if you could sink one.

Easy:

Take one (1) Hotrod F7 (previously supercharged to exceed said limit).

Couple to the front of said F7 one (1) freight car of your choice.

Speed up both F7 and car on one (1) sizeable loop of track.

Once said limit is surpassed, put said F7 into idle and decouple said freight car from said F7.

Congratulations! You now should have one (1) freight car travelling in excess of said limit and one (1) supercharged Hotrod F7 decellerating behind said freight car. Now watch as said freight car begins to outrun said F7, or flip a conveniently placed switch/junction along the route to double the excitement!

Try hooking up the maglev to it. I've had it run as fast as 14,000+ km/h. You need an extremely long track with wide sweeping corners. 100 x 100 squares. Start your corners at 8 squares in. At 14,000km/h a lap only takes around 20 or so seconds. Don't use DCC mode. It will only get upto 500mph

I only managed to get my cars up to 400 mph, but that was with the loco decoupling the consist at 50 mph, and the map comes with the game (highland valley)
