Central Kentucky Railroad

Finally figured out how to reskin using GIMP. It was frustrating getting there.

The president of CKRR is proud to announce the creation of the Central Kentucky Railroad. CKRR will be a class 3 regional carrier with freight service running all throughout central Kentucky, and passenger service from Louisville to Lexington.

The first locomotive that CKRR unveiled is a brand new GP-60. This loco is the pride and joy of the CKRR and is considered the star of the fleet.

Surely you could of atleast attemted to save some of the texture detail rather than go solid black...

Your absolutely right, I could have. However that loco is brand new with a factory fresh paint job. Here is a photo of CKRR's GP38 coupled with a former L&N loco getting ready to make a run to the local coal mine.

This loco has seen a bit of use and is starting to collect a bit of dirt.

If you would like to have some more Engines to skin and play with, search for "prjindigo" on the DLS, I think that will keep you in skinning fodder for a while.....

EDIT:

prjindigo also has some rail cars you can reskin

There also freeware F units over at Jointedrail.com that you can download the reskinning kit for... also over at TrainzProRoutes.org, there are some U25Bs and RS-11's you can reskin.
