CDP File

I cloned a file and want to save it as a CDP file but I don't have a program that will allow me to do this according to the message I received. Would someone show me the way point me in the correct direction? I don't want to add another program to my computer that I won't be using very often. Thanks.

Cloned what sort of file?

If you have TRS2006 or TC then CMP allows you to save files as a .cdp - for older versions you'll need to save your file using Content Dispatcher.

Jivebunny, long story short. Bill K asked me to clone his Mohawk, put my kuid in place of his and send it to him. I'm having one hell of a time getting it to load on my computer. I'm running 06 but cannot find where I can save it as a cdp file in cmp. Any help would be appreciated.

In CMP, when you right click on your asset, the sixth option is 'copy to CDP' or just press Ctrl+Shift+D.

rweber95, I'm in CMP, Current Search, have made the necessary changes but the 'save to cdp" is grayed out. I would like to save the entire Mohawk file so I can send it to Bill K. What am I doing wrong?

Who says you can't teach a old dog new tricks. I figured it out, just had to play around with it. Thanks for the heads up.

if you are using trainz 2004 ... go to the folder in start menu under auran and it will be at the top of trainz 2004 ..... (not trainz 2004 paintshed) .... Hope this helps ...
