cars stopping on road for no reason

I have trainz 12 but I loaded maglev route from an older trainz program.... when I put in the yarn roads from 2012 sometimes the cars will just stop on the road also if they are stopped at a track crossing 'grade crossing" the cars will not move after train passes..can someone tell me what is happening

That often happens in Trainz if you are watching the cars all the time, follow the train for a bit then go back to the crossing and the cars will be either moving or have disappeared.

The drivers probably got side-tracked with their mobile phones while the trains were passing by just as they do in real life.
