captainkman's driveable 1963 vw not working correctly

Hello.

Your picture is not showing up. Could you keep editing your post until it does? You need to copy either the Forum code and paste it here or use a direct link to the image at the hosting site.

Anything wrong with the Bug will be user error. (at least all the problems so far have been! :o) I have tested it extensively in TRS2009 to TS12.

Without the picture I can only suggest patching TRS2009 to SP4 if you have not yet done so, as Herbie is build 2.9.

Kieran.

EDIT: I copied the pictue address in the URL bar. That is a texture compression issue, on your end. :)

Shane Turner has a tutorial on how to fix that.
Here it is: http://trainz.shaneturner.co.uk/tutorials/index.php?page=black-textures-issue

Ok I could not the picture to show so I changed it to a link to the photo (hopefully that works)

also i will try updating to SP4 since I don't think I have.

Yay I fixed the texture problem :) and went to drive it and now found that none of the buttons and things work int the cab maybe Sp4 will fix that. Also how do I change the color of it?

Hello again. :)

SP4 will probably fix the buttons not working as they all do work in that version. Remember to read carefully the patching instructions written by others. :)

To change the colour, start a new session or make (or edit) a new route. Place some invisible track down (preferably in a roadway - hold Shift while clicking) and place the Bug on top of that. Then click on the "?" in the Trains tab and click on the Beetle. Then, go to the 'Livery' section by clicking on the '+'. You can then set the colour of the beetle, and whether you want a weathered (bit of rust/dirt around the edges) or clean version. Then close the box.

You can then go into Driver and test your newly recoloured bug.

Kieran.
