Can't turn turntables?

Anyone manage to turn turntables? Big ones are fine but smaller ones and like the shed I have which doors open as if it were a turntable, I can't get to click on the arrows, it doesn't move..

How do you do it? I want to use the wagon turntable!

You need to make sure that the main mesh of the object is under the mouse as well as the indicator arrows.

Seems impossible with some.. especially the wagon turntable

andi06 hit the nail on the head. No matter how small the turntable, some part of its mesh must be under the red and green arrows. I ran into this when I was making some really small broad gauge turntables. The answer is to place a 10 meter square part a little below ground level (with a hole in it for the pit). You won't see it but it will make the arrows work.

P.S. Sometime the loco itself gets in the way - just keep trying.

I'm having this same problem. I've gotten a narrow gauge locomotive to the end of it's line and there's a turntable that I have to use in order to turn the locomotive and run around the train. When I hover over the turntable the arrows appear as normal, but when I try and click the arrows they disappear.
