When i look behind me there is a start button so i push it in and nothing, and all the controls are set to off.
Can anyone help?

I had this problem when I bought them, you need to make sure that you are:
1. In Cab mode
2. The locomotive has fuel and sand on board, even if it is not set to consume fuel
3. That the isolation switch is in start/stop mode.

HTH,

I'm also having that trouble. Something I recently learned is having the L SD70(s) coupled to any type of engine that has an engineer in it is the problem. If I uncouple "X" L SD70s from the engineer's engine the L SD70s work as good as I want them to, but if I couple those engines up to another type of engine that normally works good & has an engineer in it suddenly that engine as well as the L SD70s don't work good any more.

Now that you mention it, I've had that trouble too!
Perhaps it would be worth contacting the creator?

Trainz Railroad Simulator 2006

After you add an L SD70(s) to your layout in, "Surveyor," click on the question mark at the bottom right in the, "Trains," section & then click on 1 of your L SD70s. A box will appear after you do this & show that the L SD70 does not have any fuel nor any sand. To add fuel to the locomotive click on the diesel fuel icon & the menu will expand out. In the new part of the menu click on the "0" indicating there's no fuel in the engine & type in the amt. you want it to have. Then click on the locomotive sand icon & repeat the process. After doing this, if you want, go to the, "Objects," section & select the, "Diesel Refueling Depot," then click on the question mark, afterward the depot, & change the amt. of sand & diesel it produces from zero to want you want. When you go to, "Driver," in Cab mode none of your L SD70s will be running, to turn them on get inside each individual engine, turn to your left & look at the back of the cab. At the top of this wall you will see buttons & switches. Zoom in on them, locate the, "ISOLATION SWITCH," & move it to the, "START, STOP, ISOLATE," setting. After doing this click on the, "START SWITCH," & push it in. At this moment this particular L SD70 is running. Later in the round if you want to turn the engine off press the, "EFCO/STOP SWITCH," button (Emergency Fuel Cut Off). After you do this the, "START SWITCH," &, "ISOLATION SWITCH," should reset.
