Can't find/delete missing track marker

As the title says I have a track marker that has gone missing after a glitch remove a section of track. The track marker shows up in the "drive to" menu, but having a driver trying to go to that marker returns an unable to find route error. If I use find object it takes me to the former location of the track marker. Any advice on how to fix this?

Try delete missing assets. That may clean up errant track marks.

Back up your route first prior to doing this in case it doesn't work.
