Can't down load

I'm having a time tring to down load these assets, (1)dash2 L window cab mechanism,(2) dash2 L cab shell kuid2:45324:91202:2 whitch are updates.
I've tried doing it thru CMP,content update when i enter the game,and even when i try to start a session.
I have waited over a hour & a half each time.How long should you wait to DL 24MB?
It get to the end of the DL (hilights)and it's stops
My DL speed go from 900kbps to 0.00.Stell no completion.
There is one more m:ulter tree poplar 01(performancel/MP)kuid2:72938:40186:3

24 mb should take about 100 seconds (1 mb every 4secs@250 kbps).

You'll find that in the updates, there is often considerable lag between the the appearance of such item in the list and the actual ability to download it. There always seems to be one or two that just don't want to go into the light!

Although I did just now check my updates and downloaded all. Those two that you mention did pause at the very end, but did download complete after about 20 seconds. Do you have broadband?

Hi, I have the same Problem. I load then via FTP from the black Site of DLS and Import the .cdp in CM.

It's a mystery to me why it doesn't complete quickly for some...

I pay for a first class ticket, but it seems I always get this: Retrying Download... Retrying.... I've asked Zec Murphy about this at least a dozen times in the last 2+ years, but I only get gobblety gook answers. It doesn't matter what browser I'm using or on 3 different computers with high speed service, I still get Retrying....... It's enough to make a guy go postal.

If that's on TRS2004 or UTC, it may be trying to download a newer version of an asset which is not available for that version of Trainz.

i tried all night and still no DL.
I don't know if it broadband but it's faster then dialup.
And it reaches a speed 90.77 KBps.

Have you raised a Helpdesk ticket on this? Include the KUID numbers of the problematic assets.

They are not only the two, they are many more - for me - all files >30 MB

That might be a possible timeout issue, or Content Manager is having trouble with the large files.

Have you checked the <trainz install folder>/UserData/Cache/Internet folder (if using TS2009 SP4 or later)

Thanks everyone the problem is my Internet have a cap on how much i can down load each month and with four people DLing it don't take long to use up what our cap is. (cap is ????)They the phone Co won't say that we have a cap. But when someone can down load the same asset in 2 minutes and i can't DL it at all.
