Can't delete billboard trees, pls help!

Hello all. I'm new to surveyor and I am working on modifying an already made route. My problem is I want to delete some billboard trees that look terrible from the track and replace with speed trees. I can add speed trees no problem but no matter what I do, I can't delete the billboard trees. I've tried everything and even have copied an area of blank baseboard and pasted over the billboard trees but they remain. What am I doing wrong?

Sounds like you might be trying to work in the session editor. Modifying the route must be done in the route editor.

No, I am in route editor. The route I'm trying to alter is the beautiful Norfolk & Western. There are places where billboard trees look terrible, tarnishing this fantastic route. Again, I can move, delete, add speed trees (pofigs) that are all over the route, but the masses of billboard trees I can not.

Are you using build 57720 or higher (check the Launcher for this)? If you are, you may need to unlock the route layer - do this by clicking the second from bottom tab in Surveyor on the right, then click the lock icon at the bottom of that tab.

Ok my problem was I was in object mode and not in spline mode

I new to all this, I'm not sure how one makes a "spline" out of trees but that was my problem. Thanks for the help, I'm sure I will have a million questions lol.
