Can't create NYCTA system on KRS

I thought that it was possible for me to create the NYCTA subway system on KRS but I had problems with KRS's new track system. I don't know how Kuju created the four routes that came with UK version of KRS. I would like Auran to modify the Trainz track system so that you can create smooth curved tracks instead of "jerky" curved tracks and when you create track junctions/switches, points, frogs, and guard rails are automatically created.

S T U P I D P R O B L E M~

:( :( :( i know this is soo stupid, but i dont know how or where to find the nycta2007 thingy.I mean i downloaded it and i didnt see it in the surveyor menu,,how do i put it on the game PLEAZZEE help me i love nycta soo much and this is the best subway layout ive ever seen.:'( :'(

1 more thing--how do i acees the readme??

Artywawa1, Did you double-click on the nycta2007.cmp file? I created the nycta2007 using TRS2004 so it won't run on TRS2006 and Trainz Classics without updating the content. I updated nycta2007 on TC last year after getting TC. I would upload the content to DLS but people report problems with DLS and Auran may go out of business.

NYCTA2007

Hi Jeff how are you and when you know to put on NYCTA2007 on TC because it will be the right time don't worry Mario :)

I'm not sure about uploading Trainz content to Train-Sim and UKTrainSim websites. I am not happy with Kuju Rail Simulator. Last night, I downloaded the new version of Port Ogden & Northern route and three repaints of locomotives and box car. KRS just locked up after using 2D map view to check track switches after about half-hour of driving the train.

Did you updated it signals for TRS2004 (or did my download miss out on signals?), as the only signals seem to be the buffers?

The only problem with subway/underground layouts (if the tunnels are put under the ground) is that you are either restricted to a cab/inside view, or looking at the ground with a tracking view.

Nope. In routes that make extensive use of underground track, example subways, the creator lowers the ground, lays the tracks and turnouts and platforms and stuff, then creates a "roof" over them. If you were to use an outside camera and zoom out, you'd realize the landscape is almost completely empty to save resources. Sort of like those pieces which are used when creating "do-it-yourself" tunnel kits.

what is KRS?

KRS = Kuju Rail Simulator. Kuju's original plans was to include USA routes, UK routes, and German routes on one DVD-ROM but the content for US routes was not ready in October. They decided to release one version in Europe in October and another version in USA last month. They released MK1 patch that was supposed to combine two versions into one version. The last straw that broke the camel's back happened when they decided to charge people for an UK route that was not included in the USA version and for an USA route that was not included in the UK version, and the MK1 patch caused weird problems when "drawing" tracks using the mouse in World Editor. I decided to stop using KRS for a while.
