The https is automatic! On Edge, as far as I know..The original page has no html code on it, only empty html, body, and head tags (using debugger) so it evidently is supposed to forward to another page and the forwarding is not working all the time or for some.
Not according to my page source viewer. There are a lot of <script> tags in the header, including links to Google Analytics, but there is a substantial <body> section with many HTML <div style> and <li> tagsThe original page has no html code on it, only empty html, body, and head tags (using debugger) so it evidently is supposed to forward to another page and the forwarding is not working all the time or for some.
The domain name is established and has been bought and paid for probably for many years, so why pay for something when you already have it.Why is the website still Auran when it’s been N3V for a while?
Why make a change that would cause a lot of confusion? If they moved everything over to a new www.N3V.com domain than all the users who had bookmarked the site or any of its original pages using the www.auran.com domain name would immediately lose their access. Sure, they could put a placeholder page at www.auran.com listing the new address (automatic redirections do not always work) but there would be many of us old timers who would not like that - "Marge, how do I add an address as a bookmark again?".Why is the website still Auran when it’s been N3V for a while?
A few days before hand, I noticed some weird coding under some of the page logos. I didn't think anything much of it, assuming that NV3 Games was updating the site. But a day before the site turned blank, the coding strangely remained!YEP, HTTP 500 error, I think the issue is much more banal and prosaic, the webpage coding is not MS Edge friendly, it is incompatible with it at the moment without some reprogramming...
Then can you explain why that same server does not trip and give me a 500 error message when I access that page?500 is a catchall server error, so the server tripped and fell over trying to fetch and deliver the page. Thats not browser dependant.
What about clearing the cache in the Edge? Would it change something?I just tried www.auran.com on both Firefox and MS Edge and both loaded the page without any problems.
I don't think the problem is with the page but is possibly elsewhere. For those who are having an issue, is the site being blocked by your AV software or your VPN (if you are using one)? I have encountered problems in the past with accessing some website (but not N3V/Auran) when using a VPN.
Webpage loads OK in the Firefox and blank page in Edge proves something slightly different?500 is a catchall server error, so the server tripped and fell over trying to fetch and deliver the page. Thats not browser dependant.
...
Some service maybe dying, rebooting, dying again. It may be caching on your end, or theirs.
Just cleared the Cache in both Firefox and Edge. This made no difference - the page loaded without any issues. What about clearing the cache in the Edge? Would it change something?
So, stop making it look like I'm making it up
Try clearing site data and cookies. Not everyone prefers to use Firefox. I prefer to use Edge for it's enhanced security features, unlike in Chrome where it's easy to hack since Google loves to sell our private information to hackers in india. It's why we get those funny phone calls from scammers!
Anyway, it maybe the fact that only a few people are having an issue that the page is completely blank 'IF' I didn't have a PROBLEM. I wouldn't have said anything about it! So, stop making it look like I'm making it up @pware just because YOU aren't having the same issue, doesn't mean that others aren't experiencing the same issue as I am!
