in that case your SOL, you must have a working email or you won't be able to access your account and there is not much the help desk can do. as far as I'm aware having locked myself out of an old account they can't reset email.s
You need to try to regain asses to your old email with that email recovery system that's the only way.
If you still have your old password, you should be able to log into your old account and change the email. I'm pretty sure that is what I did when CableOne forced us all to change our emails.
Thanks all, I was able to contact the help desk, gave them the info they requested and am now waiting to here back that the working email address I gave them is set
