Canadian Rocky Mountains 2011

Hi Roy,

I have finally got your map (christmas'present) (fantastic by the way!!!) but how come you don't use procedural traks?
And is it possible modify your map on our own. If so, how?

Have a good end of the year

Happy Holidays

Thanks all for the very kind posts!
@Cborg in the next update n3v will use the original procedural track for sure once they fixed the little (fps) bug that showed random on certain computers, not a big one but one so little patience on that one. DRM is there to protect authors work and minimize piracy and sorts of trolls actions. You can in session add things to the route but not edit replace or delete from the original which makes sense. They will come up with some kind of practical solution that one will have some limited interaction in surveyor without "touching "the source so to speak.
this is a screenshot session so pls if detailed technical post pls do this in a new thread or on my Columbia River Basin thread if it is specifically related to my route only..

Good question: can you merge maps.

You need surveyor for doing merge map.

Also TANE is "limited" to 1GB. but there is no need to do a merge map with my routes i can assure you.

We have great options (will be annonced) once all the subsections and full CPR Sub XXL are available in the store.

Trainzers will be very pleased!

Roy

Too bad we cannot modify a map for our personal use from Trainz like we used to...
This will not help to buy a map in T:ANE eventhough it looks great...

Not worth buying DLC unless a route can be played with like in the past.

in the next update n3v will use the original procedural track

The N3V procedural track ain't very good looking and can't be reskinned.

The "original" Procedural track i was talking about was the originally used by me in my routes and is a very good looking one!:)

In 2017 N3V will for sure come up with an intermediate solution for allowing limited editing or/and sorts off for those that are keen to change things the original creators carefully placed and what makes the routes look great.

Oh. BTW.
Those water bombers have been around for a pretty long time. I just thought I'd make sure everyone was aware of them.
I updated them more recently with a couple of feature additions & also to make them T:ANE friendly.

I've been a bit concerned about your Medivac plan as well so here's a Beechcraft King Air 350 Medivac aircraft I've been working on in my paint shop. I've now sent it over to Vulcan Aviation for a couple of repairs before it can be released into service in the Rocky Mountains. You may have already seen the CMA Beechcraft 1900D behind it in a screen shot from escd84 on the Canadian thread (already available on DLS). The Medivac is run by Northern Thunderbird Air, a sister company of Central Mountain Air which runs the 1900D. These aircraft are the work horses of the rugged mountain areas of B.C.

Keep an eye out on the New Aircraft thread for announcements.

Wheels up leaving Vancouver International.

Now that the modifications have been made by Vulcan Aviation, the NTair Medevac has been uploaded to DLS.

You're doing a terrific job Christian! Whatever settings you are using, they are making your screen shots look great. It's nice to see your work again.

Cheers, Jack

Much appreciated Jack! I have not done much in the last months, work and so keeps one busy. But I have eagerly followed yours and the others work in the Canada thread. The pictures are from places I had finished last summer, now slowly start again and look over where I continue and then I'll be back.

Warhorse,
The word that comes to mind is "breath-taking". Fantastic screenies of a great locomotive. I like the "drone's-eye view" of the train, bridges and amazing scenery back-drop. Very nice.

Christian, as always, your shots are spectacular. realistic and sharp. Nothing against your talents or that of many other great Trainzers but it is too bad that to get super crisp angles, rich, black shadows and atmospheric clarity, the shot has to look as if it were taken during the progression of a solar eclipse or during a very bright full moon. It's the nature of the beast I guess.

Both of you and all amazing Trainz artists; please do not stop sharing your art with the community. Thanks large.

This are some beautiful pictures from you warhorse, K&L Trainz did a awesome job with this engine! I'll test it right now and I must say he is a beauty. Good job Bill and Steve!
