JohnnyC1, where did you get those container cars, please?

You can d/l the cars from TPR:

http://trainzproroutes.org/tprdownloads/index.php?act=view&id=306
http://trainzproroutes.org/tprdownloads/index.php?act=view&id=313

That's the easy part, now you need to modify the config file so they will work in T12. Go here and read this thread on how this is done. Also you can modify the queue so that you can load other containers besides the built-in type, Dave Snows 48ft double stack conatiners and JR's 20ft will work, but not in combination with others. If you need assistance, I'll post my config here.

Hey Roy!

Long time listener, not a first time caller...

anyways, I had problems with TS12 in end of December, beginning of January, and now it is all sorted out. I was just wanting to confirm if I have the right version installed:

CPR_Mountain_Sub_TS14_1.0.6_s301,<kuid:122860:100035>

As the end result, I also have this one:

CPR_Mountain_Sub_TS14_1.0.6_st-2,<kuid:122860:100033>

I think one was pofig and other was not, but I don't remember the specifics.

Can you help my brain recall the differences? I'd greatly appreciate it, as I saw a warning about not to download on the site you have:

CPR-Mountain-Sub-TS14 (1.06) WARNING: DO NOT DL THIS FILE DUE TO A NASTY SP1 BUG WHICH HAS TO BE SOLVED FIRST (REPLACE ASSET COMMAND) IT MAKES THIS ROUTE HALT AT RANDOM TIMES 1H15MIN 2H45MIN JUST RANDOM! SORRY FOR THAT INCONVENIENCE. this version has pofig jvc freeware grasses instead of older S301 grasses.

I just wanted to play it safe. Thank you.

Paul

This is definitely older, found also installed after all this:

57720SP1_CPR_Mountain_Sub,<kuid:122860:100830>

I am running TS12 Build 61388 with all HF's installed. I have Roy's route installed as CPR_Mountain_Sub_TS14_1.0.6_st2.
kuid:122860:100033

It does show missing dependencies, but Roy emailed me that they are the Jankvis payware items that are not needed. The problem is with the "Replace Assets" bug in TS12.
So...I think you are good to go. You will still have, as Roy mentioned, the occasional freeze while TS12 redraws and plays "catch-up" due to the aging JET engine (even with a high-end machine), but the route is a gorgeous piece of work.
Hope TANE will be able to let us enjoy it to the max.

BTW: I called Mr. Obvious, which is how I "made the connection". Time now for a cold one whilst listening to the Asylum Street Spankers sing "Beer" and watch the Trainz run!

Regards;

Thanks for this information. I will stick with it, 100033, as I have all the assets it is needed separately. Would be great if Roy could explain what the difference is for the newer (higher) number.

G'day Paul, I believe the higher number uses pofig trees instead of JVC.

Hi there all,
Here is what we have for download on my website:
1 older version running 49922 or let's call it the MAC version.
The second one is the one i added a warning message the replace aaset bug might ruin the experience so i not take away but put a warning.
It is a version with only freeware items especially grasses.
The older 49922 has standard like ALL versions the pofig trees and for 3 usd on jvc website nice grasses.
The latest version 61388 is the latest version pofig trees, jvc grasses(3 USD) on jvc website and in the dependencies all deps more or less upgraded by me to 61388 level or the best yellow warning only but no red ones left.
Hundreds of objects i changed to make them work in 61388 the best way possible.
Now the latest version i provide only works in windows and for the MAC users i advice install a windows 7 or 8.1 version it is worth it and you can run it without a problem like other Roy's trainz MAC users confirm they do at the moment.
@John i did not say you can ignore the jvc grasses just buy them for 3 usd but you can ignore the 12 transdem kuids as they cannot be cleaned up as long as the replace asset bug is not solved.
It is a minor incovnenience just delete missing kuids and case closed right?
Ning and I take a week off and so i am not at my usual place for a change in a long time.
Probably end of this week i am back at my "usual" place in excile working on my routes.

You all have a good one.

Roy

Good morning all and especially all those who became a roy's trainz route user since last week.

Big thank you guys for all the kind and encouraging emails/posts received during my little holiday with Ning.

More than 2 handsfull new users is nice to see when not at my desk and lucky i can follow up with my samsung tablet and phone on Q@A that not require any hands on the route.

It proves the dl and run of it is straight forward and working very well.

Ok today i start work again or better gear up and get back to cruising mode and this time finish asap the first Laggan section.
Have a nice day and post pictures and or stories you like to share.

thanks again,

Roy, Ning and Djoetje:wave:

That's coming along nicely Roy. You've been quiet of late. You probably think you are working away and nobody cares, but I'm sure that's not the case. I check this thread every day with the hope that you've posted some new pictures.
Keep up the great work!

For a change no trainz

It is normal end of the winter springtime most people get more outside gardening or just do not winter things. We too. But no gardening for me the hammock is the key to heaven!

the winter ends and the hot season 2 month started so we allowed ourselves a week 2nd honeymoon away from the world at our home on Koh Chang Island. For those not know check on GE in the South east of Thailand.
